My Birding Life List

For my birding life list, I only count the animals that I have seen, or occasionally only heard, in the wild. 

Although I have seen a lot of birds in previous years.  I am only counting a few birds that I have photographed before 2003.  Other than those few birds, I actually started birding in 2003 during my ornithology class taught by Dr. Mia Revels.  In that class I learned a lot, one of the most important was how to bird by ear.  This just means that you can identify birds by just hearing them and not having to see them.  This is really important for ornithologists like Dr. Revels because she studies warblers and they are much easier to identify by sound than sight, especially in thick forests.

There are still a few things I may be missing but this is most of it and all that I have written down.
